Teenager: Asthma

We are the Andersen family, my Son Robert, has had asthma since he was 6 years old, every winter it seems his coughing has gotten worse and his breathing has become more labored and difficult. We first heard about Dr. Dumont through a friend, and after I had read some literature we decided to take Robert to see him. So I made appointment.
Dr. Dumont talked to Robert, he asked him what was going on with his
asthma. He went over the procedures, gave us his background history about
himself, which made us feel very comfortable. He explained acupuncture and herbs to our son.

Robert was given two herbs to take twice a day for two weeks and also
received acupuncture. We took him home and started up with the herbs Robert took
the pills for two days when he called me to the kitchen and told me to look in
to the trash can and showed me all this green mucus he had coughed out and
that night he slept the whole night through. He has not been coughing and is
breathing great, he has not had an asthma attack in a month

After suffering more than 15 years with digestion problems, I turned to acupuncture. I must say I was a little skeptical to try it; I had already tried several treatments that my primary care physician had suggested with no luck. I tried other expensive alternative medicine, again with no luck. I even took things into my own hands and tried over the counter treatments.

It all stared when I was 15 years old. Anything I ate caused bloating and constipation, I literally spent all those years with a distended belly. Low Back Pain / Asthma

As one that has always endorsed altenative health management practices I found myself continually seeking that one person that would side with me and help me learn to better manage my own health. Traditional western medicine had diagnosed me with uncontrolled asthma, and as a course of treatment had prescribed five different medications to control my asthma. The side effects were terrible, as well as being accompanied by insomnia, hives and continued breathing difficulty.

Neck Pain / TMJ

After visiting Dr. Dumont I can actually chew my food without pain and the pain in my neck is gone. I wake up without the pain but every once in awhile, i feel tightness on my the right side of my jaw, but it goes away by the end of the day, because of the treaments I have receiving.

Rash

My 5 year old son suddenly developed a very bad, itchy rash. Dr. Dumont was able to see him that same afternoon. My son was very cooperative for Dr. Dumont and had a long acupuncture treatment. The rash was no longer itchy by the end of the treatment and was completely gone by the next day.

I love that Cindy called and checked on us after the treatment. I really liked it when a receptionist is kind and personable.

We are very grateful and happy with the results of Logan's acupuncture treatment and will return for more treatments if needed in the future.

Shoulder Pain

I have had severe pain in my right shoulder, due to a transplant operation, and thought nothing would be able to help it. My parents started going to Dr. Dumont for short term memory loss and thought he should be able to help me.

After my first treatment, I no longer have the pain in my shoulder.

It has been amazing on what needles can do to a person when they are placed in the right places, and Dr. Dumont knows his stuff.

Persistent Cough

When I started treatment with Dr. Dumont, I had a persistent cough with slight congestion that I thought to be a lingering cold or allergies. Whatever it was, it was going on two months and I had it and nothing seem to help it to go away. With one acupuncture treatment and a mixture of herbs, the cough and congestion were COMPLETELY gone within a couple of days. I only wish I had gone to see him sooner! I would defintely recommend his services and I wil be taking my entire family as the need arises.

Low Back Pain - Knee Pain

I have been receiving acupuncture treatments for over a year. I had a knee that I could not bend, and after three treatments I was able to bend the knee and dance.

I went to my regular doctor as I was having what he called mini strokes in my head. It would feel like a sharp stick and would be gone before you could even say ouch. Dr. Dumont treated me several times for this pain and I now no longer have those pains in my head.

The lower back pain I have experienced for a long time has subsided as a result of my acupuncture treatments.

I give Dr. Dumont so much credit for alleviating all my painful symptoms. I no longer have headaches, can bend my knee, and I can stoop and bend without the excruciating pain!
